
For patient's convenience, we file claims with the insurance company information that is provided to us. Any pre-certification is the patient’s responsibility. Patients can call our office in advance and we will help determine if pre-certification is needed and answer any benefit questions. We use the most updated medical billing software, which allows us to send claims electronically and receive payments faster. We will also keep the patient informed of their account status by sending out monthly statements. Call our office for any questions concerning billing. We do accept Medicare, Medicaid, Anthem, most commercial insurance and major credit cards.

This only applies if you have Medicare or Medicaid. All other types of insurance will be billed one global fee. Any balance will be billed by Muncie Open MRi & Imaging on one bill. However, If you have Medicare or Medicaid an independent radiology group performs the professional interpretation of your service. Therefore, the radiologist will bill for the reading of the exam, also known as the Professional fee. Our facility will also send a bill for the services provided, also known as the Technical fee. back to top | |

We request a 24 hour notification to have your CD or films ready for pick up. You are responsible for them . They should be returned to us to keep as part of your permanent medical record. back to top | |
